Opportunity for radio show PDs, PRODUCERS & HOSTS

                    "On The Road with Dave"
Last January, thirty-seven radio stations in mid-western states & Ontario, Canada, shared drive-time "adventures" with Dave as he drove the popular Interstate-75 - from Michigan to Florida - and roamed around the "Sunshine State" with mic in hand.

He "interviewed" wild swamp alligators, swam with dolphins and taped segments upside-down in a WWII T6 fighter-aircraft, and at 145mph in NASCAR's famous #24.

But nobody will forget his live segment from a haunted house - a former Civil War hospital near Macon in Georgia (now a private home) - when, he actually thought he saw the ghost while on the air with popular on-air host, Bill King of Cleveland, Ohio's WEOL-AM!!!

In January,, Dave will once again be "On the Road" driving around Florida and providing entertaining, non-commercial content from the "Sunny South's" more unusual attractions . . . and invites you and your audience to join him for the fun.

Have Dave guest on your show?   Here's how it works . . .
Each "actuality" segment is produced specifically for your station and may be a short (2 min spot) or as long (up to half-hour) as you wish. It's your call.

Content varies depending upon where Dave is at the scheduled time. Your host acts as the segment anchor, which can be in an "interview" format. Dave will either be live at a specific location or can have recorded sound bites for background (voice over) use.

Why it works . . .
It's a win-win-win situation for all parties ... and it's completely free!

  • the Florida Destination wins - they get free editorial radio mention (we do not allow any "commercial" content) in the cold mid-west just before the "Florida" season.
  • your Radio Station wins - because you get warm, entertaining, non-commercial content design to your specifications (time, length, style, etc.) from the sunny south ... all at no cost.     You can also combine this with local advertising spots, if you wish ... producing a new revenue source.     Check out our Production Notes.
  • and I win - because I have the all the fun! I also get a little exposure for my popular travel book since I've yet to do a show when the talent didn't mention my book on intro or extro.

FAQs
COST? - It's FREE, but we would appreciate it if you cover the cost of the phone call to your studio. This can be done through a toll-free studio line, or via a phone-in/phone-back arrangement. A mention of Dave's bestselling books, "Along Interstate-75" or "Along Florida's Expressways" is also appreciated.

FEED QUALITY? Dave uses professional remote equipment to provide balanced levels via a phone line feed.
