IN CAR NAVIGATION & GPS

One of my favorite sites for those interesting in the fast growing world of in-car navigation using GPS (Global Positioning -Satellite- System), is DeLorme Mapping, Inc's. Here you will not only find the very reasonably priced systems (currently about US$300) I describe in my book, but also a wealth of information about GPS and maps in general. I use these products all the time . . . and with DeLorme's colored maps plotting my route on my laptop computer screen . . . I just CAN'T get lost. Oh . . . I forgot to mention, I NEVER have to ask for directions!!!

MOBILE SCANNERS & RADAR DETECTORS

Mobile Scanners & RADAR-Detector Laws in the U.S., - an excellent site by Todd L. Sherman, contains a comprehensive discussion about Federal and state laws as they affect the use of mobile police scanners and radar detectors.
