LIVE I-75 RADIO - Did you know that you can sit at home (or in your motel room) and through the magic of the Internet listen to radio stations broadcasting live programs from communities alongside I-75? Listen to actual traffic reports, road construction information . . . as well as local programs (and of course, local commercials!).
But first you need to download a free program called RealAudio.
Click here to go to RealAudio's welcome page and when you arrive, Click on the the "Get the Free RealPlayer" area at the top of the page. Close the RealPlayer web page to return here after you've successfully downloaded and installed the RealPlayer software on your computer.
Congratulations! You now have an Internet radio system.
Let's start by listening to Atlanta's major WSB-750AM. If you're lucky, you might just catch Captain Herb, Atlanta's famous airborne traffic reporter describing the state of I-75 or the I-275 West bypass, below him.
When you click on the WSB "listen live" button below, you will visit the WSB website. On the left side of the screen is a menu - Click on "On Air Broadcast" just below the sub-heading "Listen," and wait as your computer starts to receive and "buffer" the audio stream . . . and in a few seconds after a short internet commercial, you'll be listening to live radio from Atlanta. Click here to listen live to WSB in Atlanta!
Here are some other I-75 radio station broadcasts (in southbound sequence) you can listen to:
WJR-760AM, Detroit, Michigan
WSB-750AM, Atlanta, Georgia
WAYS-99.1FM, Macon, Georgia
