Here are quick links to the Department of Transportation road construction website pages, for each of the I-75 states . . .

Michigan (MDOT) - this page provides construction information for all of Michigan's major roads. Select "I-75" in the "Route" box and you will get construction details for the entire length of I-75 in Michigan, by County name. There are other useful links on this page, particularly if interested in the US/Canada border, ferry time and bridges.

Ohio (ODOT) - this page produces an interstate map of Ohio. Click on the I-75 shield and your computer will display an Ohio Construction report.

Kentucky (KY Trans Cabinet) - this link takes you to a map of Kentucky. Roll your mouse over the I-75 route and you will find the four KY transportation districts . . . "6" from I-75 mile marker 192 to 143 (just above Lexington), "7" from marker 143 to marker 73, "8" from 73 to 51, and "11" from 51 to the Tennessee border. While on your district, click on the highlight and then go to the appropriate county for construction information.

There is a better way! Since Kentucky was one of the first to go statewide with the 511 road information service, simply call "511" on your cell phone and follow the prompts for I-75.

Tennessee (TDOT) - when you click here, a map of Tennessee will appear. Slide your mouse pointer over the orange cones on the map for detailed construction information. You can also view Road Incidents and Conditions (click on the "check" boxes above the map) or use the tabs to choose Regional or City views.

Georgia (GDOT) - Georgia leads the Nation when it comes to electronic traffic information. The State's intelligent traffic management system - Navigator - is superb. This Navigator page will take you to traffic cameras, overhead electronic signs, construction, accident reports . . . just about anything you need to know to travel I-75 through Georgia. You can even arrange to have traffic information transmitted to your cell phone, Blackberry or other PDA.
